As KC8 works toward commercializing its technology, gaining SABIC's endorsement has opened doors and helped secure other major investors. From pilot to commercialization

KC8 is now in a critical phase of its journey, developing two commercial-scale pilots. These pilots are essential to proving the commercial viability of their technology. SABIC Ventures' investment has been key to making this possible, and the pilots are set to demonstrate the efficiency and scalability of KC8's carbon capture solution. The collaboration opens the door for integrating KC8's technology into SABIC's existing processes. The long-term collaboration has clear milestones laid out for the next five years, in tandem with KC8's planned commercialization in 2028.
